Excellent perspective Maria! God created humor and we feel it's not been well utilized in showing people our true God, that He's not just the God of "Thou Shalt Nots", but also of great joy, love, laughter, and all kinds of things we don't attribute to Him. It's easy to put God in the box of King James speaking, and pontificating as we "think" a deity would. While we do owe God our utmost respect, awe and wonder, It's my belief He is also tender, caring and joyful in ways we often don't consider Him to be.
